The Right Brush for Your Floor Machine

Synthetic polypropylene bristle brushes are designed for convenient cleaning of hard floors. Use the softer 012, 016 or 020 bristle brush for lighter duty scrubbing of waxed or finished floors. The stiffer 030 and 050 brushes are designed for cleaning medium oils on concrete and coated floors in commercial and industrial facilities.
Lower cost and shorter life than rotary nylon. Rotary brushes are offered in 10” to 21” block size with a wide range of hardware and accessories to fit your floor machine.
Tungsten carbide abrasive grit is mixed with nylon polymer and extruded into 6 bristle diameters and and extruded to produce 6 bristle strengths: 36 grit (most aggressive) 46, 80, 120, 180 or 500 (very soft). The wide face cylinder brush format deliver the flexibility and conformability of a brush, while also imparting the benefits of an abrasive selection of grit sizes.

Wire bristle brushes are designed for cutting, stripping and scraping of heaviest soils and old floor finishes. Wire is more aggressive than the heaviest grit bushes. Use with heavier HP motor floor machine. After use, wash, dry, and spray with lubricating oil to prevent rusting. Always wear gloves when handling Flat Wire brushes.
